We’re delighted to share an update with our patrons relating to our Telephone Box Office service. While the majority of patrons book their tickets online through our website, we know there are many who prefer to speak to someone over the phone to book their seats. To improve our phone offering, our long standing ticketing provider TicketSource will now manage all telephone bookings.
Why has this changed?
Previously our team of volunteers managed telephone bookings, often responding to voicemails on evenings and weekends. Our new offering has much better opening hours when you can speak to a human being and discuss your booking, providing an enhanced customer experience.
Will i need to ring a different number?
Nope! Our Box Office number will stay the same. Call 0191 237 5460 and press option 1 for Box Office. You’ll then be put through to a helpful operator who can help you book your seats.
What are the opening hours?
Our telephone box office service will now be available Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 7.00pm and Saturday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (excluding bank holidays)
Is there a charge to book over the phone?
There is no charge to use the telephone box office service. There is however a payment processing fee per ticket. This is the same processing fee that you would pay when booking tickets online, so it costs exactly the same to book online or over the phone.
Can I still book online?
Yes of course. You can book for all of our shows and events online with ease through the ‘What’s On’ section of our website.
How can I pay with cash?
Cash bookings can be made at our venue during our monthly coffee mornings, which take place on the first Saturday of each month from 10am till 1pm. Speak to one of our friendly volunteer team who will be able to assist. Depending on availability, tickets can also be purchased in person 30 minutes before each show.
