In 1903, William Irving painted his masterpiece ‘Blaydon Races’. It’s full of famous characters from Geordie folklore – Cushy Butterfield, Coffee Johnny, Nanny the Mazer and many more. This show tells their stories, and the tale of the Blaydon Races of 1862 through tales, brilliant projected visuals and live acoustic music. Original and traditional songs mean that the audience can join in; with a night of fun, music and tall tales!
Fool’s Gold is an acoustic duo of Steve and Carol Robson. They have played hundreds of shows, bringing their infectious mixture of stories, live songs and images to audiences all over the UK – and beyond!
