On Tuesday 20th May 2025 four of our trustees and volunteers were invited by His Majesty The King to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in recognition of our recent King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The weather could not have been better, and it was amazing to spend the afternoon joining 8000 attendees who make a huge difference to their communities across the UK. It was fantastic to meet up with Caroline Pryer the Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland during the day and enjoy tea and cakes on the lawn.
Whilst a small delegation of four attended, they proudly represented every single one of our amazing volunteers present and past who have contributed to the success of our charity and community arts venue. Certainly a day to remember!
