Christmas is such an important and busy time for us normally. Our annual pantomime brings the whole community together for some festive family fun and has done every year since 1973. We’re so sad to have had to cancel this year’s production due to the pandemic, with our venue remaining closed over the festive season.
As a result, we’re facing a big loss of income from ticket sales for our biggest show of the year, plus merchandise, programmes, sweets and so much more. This is why we’d like to invite you to take part in a Virtual Bucket Collection this panto season, as part of a national initiative #SaveOurTheatres, launched by the Theatres Trust.
We’ve put together a range of rewards for you to choose from as a thank you for a donation including:
- A thank you postcard featuring the brilliant artwork above by Georgia Hill
- Vouchers for drinks and tasty treats at our next Coffee Morning
- Limited edition Seaton Delaval Arts Centre mug!
On top of that, every donation will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a family ticket for our next pantomime, a bottle of spirit or a bottle of wine and some chocolates!
We know times are tough for everyone at the moment. But anything you can give to help keep our theatre ticking over whilst the doors are closed is incredible, no matter how big or small. As a registered charity every penny that comes in goes towards the ongoing redevelopment of the building and to keep it open for future generations to enjoy.
