Seaton Delaval Arts Centre provide modern facilities for the enjoyment of the ‘Arts’ in the local environment. We offer diversionary activities for the Youth of Seaton Valley away from the anti-social drink , drugs and vandalism culture.

We offer a friendly, well run building for the community of Seaton Valley. The Arts Centre Team encourage and support any groups wanting to make use of the facilities for various uses i.e. performing, arts and crafts, dance or song etc, ensuring the building is well maintained and used. Whilst always being conscious of other facilities in the area, we believe this new venture can only compliment the existing facilities'.

The Seaton Delaval Arts Centre will builds on the heritage of Seaton Delaval and preserve it for the future. The local community of Seaton Delaval, Holywell and the surrounding area supports a vast base of fully qualified and competent trades people. We as a local based organisation would (wherever possible) utilise this labour force. Ploughing money back into the community not only raises the standard of living but also gives a pride in the local environment.

Primarly, the Arts Centre is a community theatre, with a main auditoruim that can hold up to 130 people. We have a permant stage in place and raised seating that pulls out from the rear. Yearly we hold pantomimes, shows, concerts and other entertainment events providing entertainment for the local people, at excellent prices. Our building is extremly 'multi-use' friendly. Our raised seating pushes to the back of the auditoruim, leaving a large space for dancing and peforming. We have a spring wooden floor installed in the centre, ideal for dance groups. We also occomadate meeting and conferences using our building as a venue, providing all the 'in-venue' catering.

Over the last few years we've been open, we've also created a inhouse technical team. We have high specification theatre sound, lighting and visual equiptment to enchance every event we do. With a high specification sound system and a lighting rig permantly installed into the building, the team plan and manage all the equiptment and shows we do. Additionally, we have a full wireless internet connection in the building and a laptop for use.
